An enchanting gemstone: a dusky, beautifully polished octagonal
chalcedony
quartz, highlighted by its bright white gold bezel setting, is the centerpiece of this arresting 1930s vintage Art Deco ring. The captivating stone, speckled with hues of blue (chrysocolla) and orange (iron), is further accented by a frame of interlocking green and black enamel triangles supported by an ornamental scalloped filigree gallery. Shoulders decorated with a classic enameled Deco design motif and fine millegrain edging add the finishing flourishes to this unique and striking Jazz Age jewel. Die-struck in 14K white gold. Measures 3/4 by 5/8 inch. Currently ring size 6 1/2.
