ABOUT THIS ACCESSORY

There's no better time than a break between wars to put on a tiara and kick up your heels. After WW I and before WW II tiaras were back in vogue--and no wonder. Not quite a crown but much fancier than a headband, tiara's remind you that, yes, you are quite the princess. This utterly captivating Art Deco confection sparkles at its center with a spectacular stylized fan set with dazzling European, single, and baguette cut diamonds. On either side, shimmering arcs of diamonds lead to graduated square-set stones, bordered by bands of tiny twinkling single cuts. Smashing! So, sweep up your hair, set your tiara, and get ready to celebrate--anything. Please party with care; tiaras--like princesses--must be handled gently. Total diamond weight, 12.00 carats. Hand fabricated in platinum.

About Art Deco Jewelry

Sleek and modern, Art Deco design brought jewelry into the machine age. Yet these stylish pieces still found room for the fine forms and lines of previous eras within their elegant architecture. In particular, we see many peaceful co-habitations of Edwardian and Art Deco styles together.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
