ABOUT THIS BROOCH
Nature is the most wondrous artist. Montana moss agate, abundantly found in the Yellowstone River, is the name given to this beautiful form of chalcedony. In this early 20th century brooch, surrounded by an elegantly engraved gold frame, the naturally occurring pattern in the agate resembles a majestic mountain range. A truly unique "painting," ready to adorn your favorite ensemble. Hand fabricated in 14K (pin is a white metal), it measures 7/8 by 1 5/8 inches.
