A gorgeous, translucent, candy apple red cabochon ruby, weighing 5.08 carats and imbued with a shimmering 6-ray star (a.k.a. asterism), glistens, gleams and glows from within a fabulous Art Deco mounting. The jubilant gemstone is enveloped by a multidimensional frame aglitter with an array of small bright-white sparkling diamonds accentuated with exotic scroll motifs and decorative hand piercing. A truly original stunning Jazz Age jewel and guaranteed smile maker. Total diamond weight, .55 carat. Circa 1930. Accompanied by a gemological report from Stone Group Laboratory stating: Natural, No Indications of Thermal Enhancement, Ceylon (Sri Lanka) origin. Hand fabricated in platinum, currently ring size 5.
