ABOUT THIS RING

This impressive, all original and quite exotic platinum and diamond dinner ring, dating from the zenith of the Art Deco period - circa 1925 - showcases a bright white and beautiful antique cushion-cut diamond, weighing 1.85 carats. The scintillating stone sparkles from atop a pierced dome glittering all around with a melange of European, baguette and rose-cut diamonds, totaling just over 3 carats. The high-profile dome evokes an Asian pagoda, a stylistic motif which lent an essence of exotica during the early-20th century. The ring is beautifully finished with delicate milgrain and engraved details. Currently ring size 6 1/4.

About Art Deco Jewelry

Sleek and modern, Art Deco design brought jewelry into the machine age. Yet these stylish pieces still found room for the fine forms and lines of previous eras within their elegant architecture. In particular, we see many peaceful co-habitations of Edwardian and Art Deco styles together.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
