ABOUT THIS RING

A seamless vertical flash of intense sparkle is created by a central 1.70 carat European-cut diamond, rubbing shoulders north and south by a pair of European-cuts weighing over a carat each - bringing the total of three stones to 4.05 carats - in this superlative and utterly impressive, original Art Deco dinner ring. Hand-fabricated in platinum during the peak of the period - circa 1925, the scintillating trio are outlined by overlapping octagonal frames set with small single-cut diamonds, the center of which leads to tapered, tripartite, diamond-set shoulders. Intricate open scroll work inverted heart motifs and neoclassical hand-engraving ornament the side gallery and ring shank respectively, with delicate milgraining accentuating the edges. 1 and 1/8 inch long, lustrous and absolutely stunning. 4.65 carats total diamond weight, currently ring size 6 3/4.

About Art Deco Jewelry

Sleek and modern, Art Deco design brought jewelry into the machine age. Yet these stylish pieces still found room for the fine forms and lines of previous eras within their elegant architecture. In particular, we see many peaceful co-habitations of Edwardian and Art Deco styles together.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
