Art Nouveau "Printemps" Medallion en Habille Brooch
ABOUT THIS BROOCH
A fair lady in habille (the French term for dressing yourself), is adorned with tiny glimmering rose-cut diamonds--one in her hair, another at her lobe, plus a strand around her neck, in this lovely Art Nouveau pendant. Aptly designed with the word printemps--French for springtime--at its outer edge, it is embellished with delightful flowering vines. Hand fabricated in 18K gold, circa 1900, pin stem is 14K.Condition note: some diamonds show signs of wear commensurate with age of the piece.
