c.1942:

• Began to make his own jewelry – Steel rings (employed as a machinist)

c.1947:

• Studied With a Buenos Aires jeweler, learning to do all processes by hand.

c.1953:

• Shaftsbury, VT Studio with his wife

c.1964:

• Bennington Village “the Levin Arts Workshop”
• A staff of 6 artisans fabricated the jewelry
• Levin did specials, complicated items and design

c.1970s:

• Moved to Cambridge, NY to enlarge his business

c.2008:

• Death of Ed Levin
