test Maker’s Marks
Example: ‘r sword usa’
How to Search:
Using what you see as you examine your Mark, enter words in our search bar, Example: eagle or bird. Many marks are enclosed in a Cartouche, Frame or Shape and you can describe that enclosure, Examples: circle or triangle. Words or letters that are included in the mark (or make up the entire mark) can also be searched, Example: ORANGE BLOSSOM or A. The city or country where a Maker worked or originated can be searched, but that information is not usually contained within the mark it’s something you may know or intuit based on other marks (or the lack thereof) on your jewelry item. Keep adding information to narrow down your results.
The Maker’s Mark Database can be viewed by country or city by entering the name in the search bar. For your convenience, a country search can be initiated by selecting the country button below.
