Vesica Piscis

The Vesica Piscis (from Latin: fish bladder) is an almond shape that is created by the cross-section of two overlapping circles. This motif was used in the late Gothic period. Three interlocking vesica piscis were used as a Celtic knot in Celtic jewelry and other art disciplines.
