ABOUT THIS JEWELRY

Stellar Victoriana. A sizable, multi-dimensional oval brooch, crafted in rich 18 karat gold, is studded with shimmering pearls and pale, glowing foil-backed emeralds delineated with delicate twisted wire work. The brooch is is beautifully festooned with swags and a slinky chain tassel and is equipped on the reverse with a locket lined with blue velvet to display a photo or keepsake. The charming drop earrings mimic the brooch details on a smaller scale and the suite is nestled in it's lovely original, fox head shaped silk, velvet and red leather box. A simply enchanting, rare and collectible, mid-to-late 19th century treasure. The brooch measures 3 inches long by 1 1/2 inches wide, the earrings measure 2 1/2 inches long by 5/8 inch wide.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
