A high domed lavender colored no-heat Burmese cabochon sapphire, weighing 18 carats, and imbued with faint asterism (i.e. a star), glows in high profile between geometric diamond-studded shoulders in this striking and distinctively lovely Art Deco bauble, hand fabricated in platinum, circa 1930s. The sapphire is set in 14K white gold. Accompanied by an SGL report.
