ABOUT THIS RING

A beautiful high-caliber European-cut diamond, accompanied by a certificate issued by the Gemological Institute of America stating: H color - VS1 clarity, sparkles mightily atop a consummate Art Deco engagement ring, die-struck and hand finished in gleaming 18 karat white gold - circa 1920s-1930s. The diamond is flanked on each side by a shield-set diamond and the ring is lovingly ornamented with graceful filigree details and delicate milgraining leading to an embossed upper ring shank. A treasure.

About Art Deco Jewelry

Sleek and modern, Art Deco design brought jewelry into the machine age. Yet these stylish pieces still found room for the fine forms and lines of previous eras within their elegant architecture. In particular, we see many peaceful co-habitations of Edwardian and Art Deco styles together.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
