ABOUT THIS RING

Recently created in faithful adherence to classic turn-of-the-century late-Victorian/early Edwardian style, this bright and beautiful jewel glistens with a 2.64 carat Ceylon sapphire imbued with a bright crystalline cornflower blue hue and just a hint of lavender. The enchanting gemstone radiates from within a sparkling white halo composed of single-cut diamonds set in platinum supported by fanciful 18K yellow gold shoulders. Lovely. Accompanied by gemological report from Stone Group Laboratory stating: Indications of Thermal Enhancement, Ceylon origin. Currently ring size 7 3/4.

How to Pair Your Wedding Band

You found your ideal, beautiful, one-of-a-kind antique or vintage engagement ring… and then realized that you need a wedding band to go with it. Pairing the two can be tricky, since vintage engagement rings rarely come with matching bands, and many modern bands don’t accommodate vintage shapes and designs. So we created a line of vintage-style wedding bands, modeled after original pieces from our collection.

About Victorian Jewelry

The eclectic Victorians didn’t limit themselves when it came to motifs and themes—if it struck their fancy, they turned it into jewelry. Sweet and sentimental with a distinct romantic streak, Victorian gems expanded upon their Georgian predecessors. The array of styles that blossomed (sometimes quite literally) during this era endure to this day.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
