ABOUT THIS RING

Dating back to the first or second decade of the twentieth century, this exceptional, classic, three-stone ring, intricately hand fabricated in platinum, straddles the Edwardian and Art Deco design periods. This original vintage stunner centers on a radiant royal blue, 2.10 carat faceted oval sapphire (accompanied by a gemological report from Stone Group Laboratory stating: Natural, No Indications of Thermal Enhancement, Ceylon origin) accompanied on each side by a bright and shining European-cut diamond, weighing 1.26 and 1.22 carat respectively. Every millimeter of the mounting is meticulously ornamented with decorative hand piercing, delicate millegraining, neoclassical hand engraving, and tiny twinkling single-cut diamonds for a refined and breathtaking effect. The maker's mark indicates by Maurice Tishman. Currently ring size 5 3/4.

About Art Deco Jewelry

Sleek and modern, Art Deco design brought jewelry into the machine age. Yet these stylish pieces still found room for the fine forms and lines of previous eras within their elegant architecture. In particular, we see many peaceful co-habitations of Edwardian and Art Deco styles together.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
