Rendered in 18K yellow gold in exotic Japonesque style, the circular container is adorned on top with a central lotus flower and lily pad design, and all around with lotus flowers and sinuous water reeds, all against an undulating wavy background composed of translucent green Plique-à-Jour enamel. A rare and enchanting one-of-a-kind collectable - circa 1890-1900. 1 5/8 inch by 13/16 inch.
