Quartets of bright white and sparkling transitional European-cut/round brilliant-cut diamonds alternate with quintets of gleaming royal blue scissor-cut sapphires (synthetic* and original to the piece) in this classic and pristine Art Deco straight-line bracelet, finely finished with millegrain edging and beautifully hand engraved sides. Hand fabricated in platinum, circa 1930. Total diamond weight, 1.60 carats; total synthetic sapphire weight, 7.00 carats. 7 3/16 inches long. *Back in the day, circa the 1920s-30s, due to their color consistency and flawless clarity, synthetic sapphires were considered a modern improvement over their natural counterparts; subtle differences are only detectable with a microscope.
