ABOUT THIS RING

A array of geometric shapes combine to make quite a pretty form in this impressive (it measures 1 1/8 inches long) Art Deco dinner ring. At its center are two hexagons and a square set with brightly shining European-cuts, accented north and south by arcs of vivid synthetic* calibre emeralds and surrounded by glittering diamonds and dramatic negative space created by artful piercing. Hand engraving on the shank adds the finishing design detail to this jubilant Jazz Age jewel hand fabricated in platinum - circa 1920s-30s. Total diamond weight 1.15 carats. *Original to the piece and used for their clarity and color consistency. Currently ring size 5 1/4.

About Art Deco Jewelry

Sleek and modern, Art Deco design brought jewelry into the machine age. Yet these stylish pieces still found room for the fine forms and lines of previous eras within their elegant architecture. In particular, we see many peaceful co-habitations of Edwardian and Art Deco styles together.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
