Old world elegance, circa 1915-1920, shines through in vibrant royal blue in this refined Edwardian-era solitaire ring featuring a radiant Ceylon Sapphire weighing 5.50 carats. The enchanting gemstone is held by 4 triple prongs which seamlessly emerge from the sweeping under gallery design, and is minimally embellished with just a single small diamond twinkling from each shoulder. Hand fabricated in platinum, the fluted ring shank is currently size 6 1/4. 9/16 inch. Accompanied by a gemological report from Stone Group Laboratory stating: Natural, Indications of Thermal Enhancement, Ceylon (Sri Lanka) origin.

About Edwardian Jewelry

Edwardians took the dark beauty of Victorian jewelry and dyed it platinum blonde.
