ABOUT THIS NECKLACE

Are you ready for some full-on (but quite tasteful) glamour? If so, look no further than this resplendent and utterly ravishing, red carpet-worthy jewel. A stunning, extra fine (crystal clear), Colombian carat pear-shaped emerald, weighing 2.97 carats, glistens and glows with a gorgeous, diamond clean crystaline-green color, surrounded by shimmering round brilliant-cut diamonds and embellished below with a trio of bright white baguettes. A bezel set marquise connects the captivating gem to an exquisitely designed diamond necklace ablaze with round brilliants and ribbons of baguette diamonds. (Bonus! The emerald drop is removable, leaving behind a perfectly stunning diamond necklace.) Fabulous! Total diamond weight, 7.50. Emerald accompanied by a gemological report from Gemological Institute of America stating: Clarity Enhanced (F1) - Colombian Origin. Hand fabricated in platinum in the mid 20th century. Detachable emerald pendant is contemporary. Measures 16 inches.

About Mid-Century Jewelry

Mid-Century jewelers gave the Victorians a run for their money when it came to variety—with the added bonus of big, bold gems in every shape, size, and color. Themes of previous eras were made fabulous enough to match the optimism of the post-war world. Transitional pieces bridged the gap between the first and second half of the 20th century.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
