A bright and shining European-cut diamond, weighing .59 carat, sparkles solo from within an artfully stylized buttercup setting in this elegantly refined Victorian-era solitaire engagement ring hand fabricated in 12 K rosy-yellow gold, circa 1890. The center stone is of early-20th-century vintage. Currently ring size 6 1/4.
