ABOUT THIS RING

This intricately designed Depression-era delight, brought to you in glorious black & white, has it all, including something not commonly seen in jewelry from this period (circa 1930) - a cameo - and an unusual one at that. The silhouette of a lovely old world lady carved in and outlined by glossy black onyx stands out beautifully against a contrasting white background. The portrait is embellished all around with a strand of tiny seed pearls with delightful orange blossoms accenting each corner. The gallery is a masterpiece of filigree design and the equally ornate shoulders are adorned with a lovely bow. You, and everyone else, will not be able to take your eyes off of it. Crafted in 14K gold, currently ring size 6 1/2.

About Art Deco Jewelry

Sleek and modern, Art Deco design brought jewelry into the machine age. Yet these stylish pieces still found room for the fine forms and lines of previous eras within their elegant architecture. In particular, we see many peaceful co-habitations of Edwardian and Art Deco styles together.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
