Art Deco Style Green Glass, Black Onyx and Diamond Ring
A striking and intriguing jewel, indeed. Manufactured in Argentina, yet bearing (faux) French hallmarks, this big (1 by 3/4 inch), bold and colorful Art Deco style ring highlights a gorgeous gleaming emerald-cut green glass center stone (a dead ringer for a fine Colombian emerald), framed in eye-catching contrast by calibre-cut black onyx, all set off with a sparkling octagonal halo of round brilliant-cut diamonds. Four diamonds in stylized leaf settings form the decorative shoulders, while millegrain edging and a lattice-like under gallery add the finishing details. Tres chic! Hand fabricated in platinum, currently ring size 7 1/2.
