ABOUT THIS RING

Simply one of the finest original Art Deco cabochon emerald rings of all time! A magnificent sugarloaf shape Colombian emerald, weighing 3.50 carats (showing all on top), suffused with a fabulous, glowing, crystalline (diamond clean) rich green color (as good as it gets), is enthroned in a worthy original Art Deco mounting, artfully and intricately designed and hand fabricated in platinum during the zenith of the Art Deco period - circa 1925. Tiny sparkling white diamonds are accented with vibrant green calibre emeralds accentuated throughout with decorative hand piercing, delicate milgraining, and hand engraving continuing all around the currently size 7 1/4 ring shank. Magnifique! Accompanied by a gemological report from Stone Group Laboratory stating: Colombia origin; Evidence of Minor Clarity Enhancement; Vivid bluish-green.

About Art Deco Jewelry

Sleek and modern, Art Deco design brought jewelry into the machine age. Yet these stylish pieces still found room for the fine forms and lines of previous eras within their elegant architecture. In particular, we see many peaceful co-habitations of Edwardian and Art Deco styles together.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
