A sleek and suave original Art Deco open face pocket watch (aka tuxedo watch) crafted in platinum, circa 1920s-30s, by the famed Swiss designer and watchmaker Paul Ditisheim. The watch boasts a silvered dial, gold hands, gold Arabic chapter markers, sub second dial and a diamond-set bezel and bail sparkling with sixty-one round brilliant-cut diamonds totaling 1.75 carats. 18 Jewel movement. Engraved on reverse ‘E. Roy Fitzgerald' (more than likely the transportation magnate of Minnesota). The case dimensions are 2 inches tall by 1 11/16 inch wide.
