ABOUT THIS NECKLACE

From the 1920s, a 2 and 1/2 inch long and lovely, natural apple green jade pendant necklace crowned with platinum and diamonds. The double-sided jade is artfully hand carved with a sinuous foliate motif. A truly stunning and sophisticated original Art Deco jewel. The necklace is accompanied by a gemstone report from Stone Group Labs stating: 'Natural. No indications of polymers or dyes. It is the opinion of this lab that the country of origin is Myanmar (Burma)'. The substantial jade measures 55.68 X 22.56 X 6.33 millimeters. The new white gold chain measures 20 inches long.

About Art Deco Jewelry

Sleek and modern, Art Deco design brought jewelry into the machine age. Yet these stylish pieces still found room for the fine forms and lines of previous eras within their elegant architecture. In particular, we see many peaceful co-habitations of Edwardian and Art Deco styles together.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
