ABOUT THIS RING

This jubilant Jazz Age jewel, expertly hand fabricated in platinum, circa 1920s, radiates front and center with a fabulous vibrant crystalline red ruby weighing 1.75 carats. The gorgeous gemstone, accompanied by a gemological report from Stone Group Laboratory stating: Natural, No Indications of Thermal Enhancement, Vietnam origin (indistinguishable from a classic Burmese color), gleams between a sizable pair of bright-white and sparkling European-cut diamonds (east and west), together weighing 1.70 carats, and gently curved rows of small glittering European-cut diamonds (north and south), all supported by fancy diamond-set shoulders and an artfully pierced side gallery. Hand engraving along the currently size 8 1/2 ring shank adds the finishing flourish to this superb and stunning Art Deco dazzler.

About Art Deco Jewelry

Sleek and modern, Art Deco design brought jewelry into the machine age. Yet these stylish pieces still found room for the fine forms and lines of previous eras within their elegant architecture. In particular, we see many peaceful co-habitations of Edwardian and Art Deco styles together.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
