ABOUT THIS NECKLACE

A striking emerald-cut frosted rock quartz crystal plaque pendant, measuring a sizable 1 7/8 by 1 inch (considerably larger than the norm) and framed in delicate filigree, glints in the center of its carved radiant design with a tiny diamond-set single-cut, all of which suspend from a distinctive 16 1/2 inch Art Deco necklace. A Depression-era delight, die-struck and hand finished in 14K white gold, circa 1930s. The maker's mark indicates Kohn & Co.
