ABOUT THIS NECKLACE

Formerly flaunted by a fabulous flapper, this consummate Art Deco adornment - circa 1920s - shimmies and shakes with your every move. Multitudinous seed pearl tassels, each punctuated by a black onyx bead, dance below a faceted black onyx, rose-cut diamond-rimmed crown. Measuring just short of 3 inches from the top of the matching diamond-set loop, the tassel pendant suspends from an original 18 inch platinum chain dotted with natural pearls. A fun and festive Jazz Age jewel.

About Art Deco Jewelry

Sleek and modern, Art Deco design brought jewelry into the machine age. Yet these stylish pieces still found room for the fine forms and lines of previous eras within their elegant architecture. In particular, we see many peaceful co-habitations of Edwardian and Art Deco styles together.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
