Late-Victorian Sapphire, Diamond and Demantoid Garnet Ring
This subtle variation on a classic Victorian five-stone band or carved ring highlights a faceted oval Ceylon sapphire weighing 1.00 carat. The radiant royal blue gemstone is accompanied east and west by pairs of bright-white and sparkling European-cut diamonds (together weighing 1.40 carats) accented at the corners with small bright apple green demantoid garnets from the Ural Mountains of Russia (replacing the usual rose-cut diamonds). A scrolled side gallery adds the finishing touch to this distinctively stunning jewel. Currently ring size 6 1/4.
