ABOUT THIS RING

A delightful marriage of two eras. The center of this distinctive Mid-Century ring highlights a dazzling 1.30 carat European-cut diamond (appearing even larger with its cornered prongs), embraced east and west by bezel-set marquise and single cut diamonds, presenting a definite Deco design aesthetic. The artful assemblage is framed by crescents of shimmering single cut diamonds--set in iconic Mid-Century fishtail settings--creating an overall dome of fabulous sparkle across your finger. Center diamond accompanied by a GIA Grading Report stating: I - color, SI1 - clarity. Total diamond weight, 1.95 carats. Hand fabricated in platinum, 14K white gold shank. Currently ring size 6.

How to Pair Your Wedding Band

You found your ideal, beautiful, one-of-a-kind antique or vintage engagement ring… and then realized that you need a wedding band to go with it. Pairing the two can be tricky, since vintage engagement rings rarely come with matching bands, and many modern bands don’t accommodate vintage shapes and designs. So we created a line of vintage-style wedding bands, modeled after original pieces from our collection.

About Mid-Century Jewelry

Mid-Century jewelers gave the Victorians a run for their money when it came to variety—with the added bonus of big, bold gems in every shape, size, and color. Themes of previous eras were made fabulous enough to match the optimism of the post-war world. Transitional pieces bridged the gap between the first and second half of the 20th century.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
