A cool design by Philadelphia's finest - J.E. Caldwell, circa mid-20th-century. A checkerboard (or sapphire 'X') pattern is composed of alternating round brilliant-cut diamonds and bright royal blue square-cut sapphires, all presented in gleaming platinum. 7 1/16 inch. Currently a petite 3 1/2 ring size.
