ABOUT THIS JEWELRY
This is one of the most unusual, elaborate and exquisitely detailed fobs that we've ever seen. A mounted horseman (Don Quixote perhaps?), equipped with a long spear or lance, sits atop a sizable (1 5/8 inches) fob/pendant thoroughly adorned with a lush repousse foliate motif, set on the bottom with gleaming amber-colored citrine. It makes for a most striking necklace pendant. Hand fabricated in 18K gold, by way Portugal, according to the hallmarks. Circa turn-of-the-last-century.
