Dating back to the mid-1800s, this strikingly lovely pendant necklace, rendered in silver over 9K gold (hence more than likely of British origin), sparkles in the center of the turquoise blue enamel background (lightly chipped on the edge) with a diamond-set star, and all around with bright white old mine-cut diamonds (totaling 1.50 carats). 1 inch diameter. The newer darkened silver chain measures 18 inches.
