Pair of Edwardian Peacock Brooches by William Scheer
Starla, our intrepid in-house gemologist and jewelry researcher, discovered that the designer William Scheer patented his artful peacock designs back in 1894! The virtually identical twins are masterfully hand fabricated in platinum over 18K yellow gold and are studded throughout with glittering apple green demantoid garnets, icy-white old mine-cut diamonds, and vibrant blue faceted round sapphires. Birds of a feather really do flock together, and although they've stayed together for a century, we will separate them if you so desire for $15,750 each. They each measure just over 2 inches from beak to tail feathers.
