Edwardian Rock Crystal Reverse Intaglio Lavalière Necklace
This breathtakingly beautiful necklace dates squarely from within the Edwardian era - circa 1900-1910. The central crystal intaglio depicts a diaphanous dancing muse wreathed in platinum set with small glittering diamonds, inset into a frosted crystal hexagonal frame surmounted by a fanciful diamond-studded extension piece transitioning to the original 16 inch platinum filigree neckchain. The lavaliere measures 3 inches total. A truly rare and ravishing Belle Époque jewel.
