ABOUT THIS NECKLACE

Dating from the end of the nineteenth century, this fabulous and fanciful Victorian pendant necklace glistens and glows with a captivating quartet of multi-shaped, pastel blue aquamarine gemstones. Centering on a voluptuous pear shape, the intricately and delicately designed jewel is adorned with finely granulated scallop shell motifs, exquisite filigree work and a trio of lustrous natural pearls supporting three dangling, dancing drops. An exceptional and exotic antique adornment, expertly hand fabricated in richly patinated 18K yellow gold. 2 1/2 by just over 1 inch. The original chain measures 16 1/2 inches.
