A rare and thoroughly wonderful Victorian tassel necklace composed of rich 18 karat graduated spring gold. This exemplary antique necklace focuses on a pendant locket shimmering with a luminous moonstone adorned with Etruscan revival ornamentation continuing on to the matching bail above. The reverse houses a hinged locket compartment. A pair of dancing tassels complete this truly stunning and exceptional original Victorian treasure, circa 1875, in excellent condition.
