ABOUT THIS NECKLACE
This fanciful and Frenchy (style-wise) Victorian era pendant, measuring a substantial 2 1/8 by 1 1/4 inches, magnificently presents an unusual gemstone: a geodesically faceted pear-shaped amethyst imbued with a light pinkish purple glow. The enchanting stone is wreathed in a regal, hand engraved multidimensional repoussé frame, and suspends from its original chain secured with a rare matching clasp. A ravishing rarity, circa 1885. Chain, 17 1/2 inches.
