.99 Carat Diamond Engagement Ring - GIA E VS1
10-1-10553
ABOUT THIS RING
Exemplary in both quality and design, few come finer than this elegantly understated, yet ultra-sparkling, Art Deco engagement ring, dating from the 1930s. A sizzling, icy-white center stone, weighing just one point shy of one carat, is presented and enhanced in perceived dimension by crisp four-corner settings. The hand-fabricated platinum mounting is modestly embellished on each shoulder with a trio of small square-cut diamonds punctuated with engraved triangular design motifs, leading to a currently size 6 1/2+ ring shank. A refined and radiant, sophisticated and stunning, original vintage sparkler. Accompanied by a GIA Diamond Grading Report stating: E color - VS1 clarity and round brilliant cut. We agree with the color and clarity but the cut is distinctly an early cut circa the time the ring was made and we call it European.
