The international design influence on the Art Deco aesthetic is strikingly evident in this exotic and distinctively fashioned jewel. A majestic pear-shaped black opal from the famed Lightening Ridge mines of Australia mesmerizes with brilliant kaleidoscopic neon flecks of electric blue, green, and fiery orange hues, Surrounded by a diamond-accented frame reminiscent of a crown and all supported by openwork shoulders decorated with scroll design, this is a truly gemmy, uncommonly cool, one-of-a-kind beauty. In 18K gold, currently ring size 5. Limited sizing. Condition note: opal shows some mild crazing (slight cracks due to water loss) commensurate with the age of the ring.
