ABOUT THIS RING

Only a well-seasoned expert (equipped with a 10X jeweler's loupe) would be able to distinguish this modern rendition of a classic Art Deco dinner ring from its 1920s vintage counterpart. Centering on a rich royal blue faceted oval sapphire, weighing 1.01 carats, the bezel-set gemstone centers a curvaceous 3/4-inch-plus top sparkling up and down and side to side with four bezel-set transitional European-cut diamonds set against a decoratively pierced backdrop twinkling with numerous tiny single-cut diamonds. Fine milgraining throughout and a hand-engraved upper ring shank add the finishing details. A superb and stunning Jazz Age-style jewel crafted in lustrous platinum. Currently ring size 6 1/2.

About Art Deco Jewelry

Sleek and modern, Art Deco design brought jewelry into the machine age. Yet these stylish pieces still found room for the fine forms and lines of previous eras within their elegant architecture. In particular, we see many peaceful co-habitations of Edwardian and Art Deco styles together.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
