Store protocol update


Truly, these have been challenging times. We at Lang Antique & Estate Jewelry are thinking of you, our valued clients, and we are working diligently to continue to provide excellent service in the context of the--thankfully improving--Covid-19 health crisis. Despite California's decision to suspend the mask mandate for indoor venues, we will continue to require that everyone wear a mask (well-fitted surgical or KN95 only) while shopping at Lang. We understand that there are differing opinions and comfort levels regarding this; we are choosing to exercise caution to protect you, ourselves and everyone’s families and friends. We thank you all for your continued support, understanding, and cooperation.

We are open by appointment and, if we can safely accommodate your visit, will welcome walk-ins. Here are the steps we are taking to deliver your beautiful jewelry to you.


We are now accepting in-store shopping, repair/sizing/dropoff/pickup and virtual appointments with one of our knowledgeable sales professionals. These appointments are available Tuesday through Saturday.

Our primary shipping days are Monday through Thursday for Priority Overnight shipping and Monday through Wednesday for 2nd Day delivery, but we can accommodate Saturday delivery as well. Our amazing e-commerce team will keep you up-to-date on the shipping status of your package. 


If you decide that you want to return your jewelry, please notify us within 10 days of receipt and our shipping department will email a Federal Express label and shipping instructions. If you are local, and would prefer to come into the store to make your return/exchange in person, please visit our site and set an appointment.


Please notify us if you need a ring sizing or other adjustments to your jewelry. We will email a Federal Express shipping label, along with instructions on how to pack and ship it back to us. If you are local and would prefer to come into the store, please visit our site and set an appointment.

Lang is taking the following measures to ensure a safe and enjoyable in-store shopping experience for our clients.


Lang has established a Safety Protocol for both employees and in-store customers.

  • In-store visits are by appointment, with a maximum of two clients per appointment. We are currently allowing one appointment (two people) in the store at one time. If we can safely accommodate your visit, walk-ins are welcome.

  • Everyone entering Lang will be required to wear a mask (we will provide masks if you do not have one) and to use hand sanitizer that we will provide. Every Lang employee will wear a mask and will wear either gloves or will use tissues when handling jewelry. The staff has been thoroughly trained to maintain sanitized presentation areas and to carefully handle and scrupulously clean all jewelry.

  • You can be assured that every single piece of jewelry will be cleaned before and after you try it on. Every piece of jewelry that leaves the store, whether you take it with your or if it is shipped, will be handled and sanitized according to Lang’s safety protocol. 

  • Our store will have well-defined presentation areas, designed to meet the social distancing guidelines and we will regulate the number of people on the sales floor accordingly.

  • Please note that, although curbside pick-up has become a common operating procedure for some businesses, as part of our established standard safety practices and in compliance with our insurance guidelines, Lang does not provide curbside pick-up.

  • Parking is available at both the Sutter/Stockton garage, 444 Stockton Street, and the 450 Sutter Street garage. We recommend parking at the Whitehouse garage (223 Sutter Street) or 450 Sutter Street.

We have all learned to adjust to a new way of navigating nearly every aspect of our lives. While some of the safety measures that our state and federal governments and agencies required over the past year have now been lifted or adjusted, we at Lang want to do everything that we possibly can as responsibly contributing and considerate citizens to ensure both your safety and the safety of our staff.

The effect of this pandemic is unlike anything most of us have ever experienced. As we do all that we can to practice personal safety, we have the strong desire to help our larger community in some way. Please know that you are partnering with Lang towards this effort; for every purchase you make, $15.00 will be donated to either a local or national food bank.  

Times like these make us realize that we have more in common than not. Let’s continue to support each other in any way that we can; the smallest acts of kindness make a difference.
