Vintage .77 Carat Diamond Dome Ring - GIA G SI2
ABOUT THIS RING
A unique center stone + a unique mounting = a unique ring! Although termed by the GIA as a 'round modified brilliant,' the icy-white diamond, weighing .77 carat, is actually a shallow European-cut diamond, having the outer dimension of a 1.25 carat modern cut diamond. The distinctive stone scintillates atop a sparkling confection, hand fabricated in platinum, aglitter with small bezel-set diamonds interspersed by baguette diamond prongs, all of which are supported by a five-wire ring shank. A one-of-a-kind, fabulous and flashy finger-hugger dating back to the 1930s-40s. Total diamond weight, 2.22 carats. Currently ring size 5. Accompanied by a GIA Diamond Grading Report stating: G color - SI2 clarity (pay little heed, the stone is crystal clear).
