Georgian Silver and Rose-Cut Diamond Hand Stickpin
$3,750.00
From the late-1700s/early-1800s. A glistening diamond hand, sculpted in darkly oxidized silver, disembodied from both its arm and its original jewelry context (probably a necklace clasp), has been repurposed into a dramatic, whimsical and weird stickpin. Thoroughly studded with about one-and-a-half carats of dusky rose-cut diamonds. The hand measures 7/8 inch by 9/16 inch; the entire stick pin measures 2 1/2 inches.
