ABOUT THESE EARRINGS
A pair of radiant eight-pointed stars are dramatically juxtaposed against rich cobalt-blue backgrounds, over extremely subtle guilloche engraving, in these heavenly Victorian earrings dating back to the mid-to-latter-nineteenth century. Celestial! When at rest, the earrings reside in a fitted leather jewel box signed "Z.Barraclough & Sons Ltd. Goldsmiths, Leeds". The earwires have been recently added. About 1 carat total diamond weight; the ovals alone measure 5/8 inch by 1/2 inch.
