ABOUT THIS RING

This distinctive Art Deco inspired dazzler was actually produced during the 1940s-50s in two-tone yellow and white gold. The vintage ring features a bright-white and sparkling transitional round brilliant-cut diamond, weighing .18 carats (but appearing significantly larger due to its elaborately fashioned 'illusion' setting). The center diamond is flanked on each side by pairs of tiny single-cut diamonds, and all of the diamonds are accentuated in white gold settings bordered and shanked in contrasting yellow gold for a stylish and sophisticated effect. Currently ring size 6.

How to Pair Your Wedding Band

You found your ideal, beautiful, one-of-a-kind antique or vintage engagement ring… and then realized that you need a wedding band to go with it. Pairing the two can be tricky, since vintage engagement rings rarely come with matching bands, and many modern bands don’t accommodate vintage shapes and designs. So we created a line of vintage-style wedding bands, modeled after original pieces from our collection.

About Retro Jewelry

Hollywood glam got creative during the war era, when strategic factors forced jewelers to do without certain materials. Rather than scale back, they took the streamlined shapes of the Art Deco and went big, bold, and gold with them! Retro power pieces segued from the Jazz Age to the Fabulous Fifties, creating many motifs of vintage jewelry along the way.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
