ABOUT THIS RING
Dating back to the 1940s, a classic two-tone engagement ring crafted in 14K yellow gold with a palladium top. Palladium, a close cousin of platinum, was substituted for a short time during the WWII years when platinum was required as a strategic metal. This rare beauty features a bright white round brilliant-cut diamond, weighing .45 carat, presented between a trefoil design of small navette-set diamonds glittering on each shoulder. The maker's mark indicates Whitehouse Brothers. A distinctive vintage dazzler, currently ring size 5 1/2.
