ABOUT THIS NECKLACE

A shimmering, flower shape, frosted carved rock crystal pendant, dotted all around with 14 European-cut diamonds and measuring just over 1 3/4 inches, provides the backdrop for a cushion-cut, color-change sapphire weighing 6.75 Carats, framed in a glittering diamond halo. Depending on the light source, the enchanting and exotic, natural, no-heat gemstone flashes from a rich pinkish lavender to a purplish-blue. The ravishing and radiant pendent is suspended from a diamond-set enhancer bail and the original 22 inch long collet-set diamond chain. A truly unique and fabulous Art Deco-era jewel. The accompanying gemstone report from the AGL reads: Ceylon. Purplish Blue to Pinkish Lavender, good color shift. Amethyst purple to Tanzanite purplish/blue bluish/purple.

About Art Deco Jewelry

Sleek and modern, Art Deco design brought jewelry into the machine age. Yet these stylish pieces still found room for the fine forms and lines of previous eras within their elegant architecture. In particular, we see many peaceful co-habitations of Edwardian and Art Deco styles together.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
