ABOUT THIS NECKLACE
A wondrous treat for your eyes, with one delightful detail after another to gaze upon. Making a stunning statement, the focal piece of this rare and ravishing and riveting necklace (perhaps a hair comb in its former life?), is an impressively sized and intricately fashioned openwork crescent hand fabricated in platinum over brightly burnished 18K gold and set with 15.25 carats of bezel-set graduated cabochon sapphires (natural, no-heat, Ceylon origin) imbued with an ethereal periwinkle blue (moonstone-like) shimmer and hue. Adding contrasting sparkle, tiny rose-cut diamonds glimmer along the outer edges, while trios of diamonds twinkle above and beneath. An utterly captivating collectible--you will never see anything else like it! Total diamond weight, 2.25 carats. The double cable chain adjusts to 14 inches, the centerpiece is 3 inches wide. Sapphire gemological report from Stone Group Laboratories states: Natural. No indications of thermal enhancement. Ceylon, origin.
